Junk if I may say…. I have so many such small powerbank that I got for free but I never use them. Small capacity, slow charging…

    • And not to mention after conversion your lucky to get 1800mah worth or juice

  • Are these things 1A?

They are always 1A and $14 for these in the first place is expensive when you realise Kmart have always had these for $5 and sometimes Big W also. Although any other powerbank is better than this, you can replace the batteries if it ever goes bad.
Edit: This powerbank also includes a 3 in 1 cable so it might be worth it for the cable alone if you don't trust buying online although why use OzBargain in the first place if you don't trust buying online? So overall spend more and buy something better but $5 for an emergency I guess it's not so bad and it wont blow up and if anything goes wrong, the impact won't be as bad since the battery is smaller than many others.

        Item description:
        It is high capacity
        Two two o o? LOL!

  • What about the 3 in 1 cable? Is it only me or do you also feel they keep charging and are not rejected by iphones, even though they’re not certified.

Slightly higher capacity than the Kmart $5 version (assuming that value is accurate).

Their only real value is for harvesting the 18650s.

    • even then you'd be better off cracking open old laptop batteries and harvesting the cells within.

      • assuming you have an old laptop!

That's an expensive paperweight. It's about all it's good for though.
If someone wants it for free to witness how bad it truly is first hand, I don't mind.

  • I’m gonna use them for my rear dash cam in a Ute and keep the good ones in a backpack
