The Process and Your Experience of Selling Rewards Points (Qantas, Velocity and AmEx)

Hi,

I've got Qantas (200+k), Velocity (~100+k) and Amex points (105k from Explorer card). In particular with Amex points… theres limited information on this.

I haven't sold or bought points before and was wondering if anyone can share the process and their experience please.

    Not trying to scare you or anything, but be aware of the risks (relatively small, I'd say) of each sale, given that it's against the terms and conditions to buy and sell.

    In the event that your account gets cancelled/suspended, there won't be any point coming here to whinge about it

    I don't believe you can sell/transfer Amex points directly? More likely have to transfer to Velocity or another points program and do a family transfer from there.

    I sold ~600k qantas points and it was super easy, no regrets. $6000 cash in hand :)
