          Supermarkets have been in pre-made meals for decades. What will kill YouFoodz is the quality drop as they grow more than the price/competition. They were substantially better quality than the alternatives, but that quality seems to be decreasing.

            @[Deactivated]: I know supermarkets have been in the game. However, I feel that they are upping their game by offering little better quality food compared to previous years. Also, coles has just launched a partnership with uber eats where you can order pre-made meals..i don't know the pricing on that. For a relatively new business like youfoodz, margins gets compressed even more when revenue growth slows down due to quality/competition. I hope they do well but their meal size is small and now the quality also going down.

    Thanks OP - works OK on a calorie by calorie basis with the larger meal combos, but they are riiigght on the edge of cost-effectiveness for me. Grabbed a whole bunch of the lamb shanks

    After having quite a bit of Youfoodz almost 2 years ago now, and then getting some in a recent promotion, I can say that the quality of their ingredients has declined substantially. There's definitely a reason why they are able to constantly run these cheaper prices now, as opposed to earlier on.

        They never used to give out discount codes before so you basically pay full price along with a $20 delivery fee unless you lived in Queensland.

      I've noticed the decline in quality in just in the last 4-5 months. My guess is as a result of their scale they both can't make the quality as good, and any small saving actually makes a big financial difference.

    What happened to the $20 and $30 of $49 min spend, seems they have caught on. Was getting meals at like $5-$6 each, don't think I'd pay any more for them. Super tasty though.

      Probably they are looking at an influx of the new year resolution people at the moment and so they're targeting margin. Also it's probably tough for the long term to deliver boxes for $20 with free delivery.

      They're ok, but they have declined in quality a bit in the last 6 months. That and their new menu isn't great.

    If you get the specials of 3 x large foods @ 29.95 each x 2 and 2 x regular meals as the OP suggested from another user, total comes down to roughly $79.75, with the discount, down to 58.15. But with the discount of $8.90 of the 1 x 3 pack of large meals, technically you get a total discount of $39.40 (21.60 + 8.90 + 8.90).

    Given the fact you're getting 6 x large meals not 6 x normal meals. This deal is good, not the best but good if you need it since their 2019 deal has been so bad.
