Don't you mean to redeem the code after you've already created the account using a referral?
Regarding the other codes (e.g.NOQ4U, BEATQ20 etc), I don't think anyone actually knows what the codes do, beyond saying Woohoo! Some days they add money (regardless of whether it says $5 or $10) and other days they don't. The short period where they all worked (giving $25 total) was a good time, but I think those days are gone.
Suggest not taking this approach. Just added referral code, accepted, entered NOQ10, it said woohoo but there is no additional credit showing up on my account. Just the $5 referral for me then :(
OK. It's just that NOQ10 looks too short to be a referral code.
BTW, the referral bonus often won't show up until you leave the Hey You main page (like go to the profile page). I don't know how much I would have got since I used the website (which from past experience, doesn't seem to give referral bonuses?).
Using the app only. Referral showed straight away.
