  • I am curious does anybody know what is the lightest 1050ti 15.6" 8750H (or equivalent cpu) laptop all other specs doesn't matter but I mean preferably same weight or amount of hard drive / solid state drive etc don't mind if there is actually more than 8gb ram.

But yeah what is the lightest?

    • There are a few laptops in this weight range, but give or take a few grams, this is as good as it gets.

      MSI Stealth
      Razer Blade
      Gigabyte Aero
      Lenovo Yoga
      Dell XPS
      Asus Zenbook

If you can stand to lose CPU power, you can get a Microsoft Surface Tablet as well, which is about 1.6kg

      • Out of the above which would be the lightest?

Sorry for the extra questions and work load just thought I would ask you may know better including other extra information etc.

          • MSI GF63 is around 1.86kg
          • Razor Blade 15 ~2kg
          • Gigabyte Aero 14 ~1.88kg (but a 14")
          • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme starting from 1.7kg
          • Dell XPS 15 is ~1.8kg
          • Asus Zenbook Pro is also ~1.88kg

They all come in various price tags with different build quality as well.

          • @scotty: thanks scotty you are a real help

Nice specs and even nicer price, too bad I bought an XPS. few months ago. Would anybody who's owned the Apex lite share their opinion on these??

    • Would love to know as well, please share if you have one of these!

The Apex 15 lite is a new limited availability product we've launched due to popular demand from people who were originally looking at getting an Apex 15. Both are very similar however as the lite is new there won't be anyone who's owned it for more than a week or so. There is however a comprehensive video review for our Apex 15R available which may be of use to you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATNgHCt8Hik&t=648s

Feel free to give us a call (03-90433893) or email ([email protected]) if you have any questions. We're here to help you get the best out of any purchase you make with us.

      • Thanks! I'll check it out and have a think :)

  • Any way I can find a display model in Sydney?

    • Our only showroom is in Melbourne at the moment :(

Would you happen to know the screens brightness, thanks?

          • @AftershockPCOfficial: Thanks appreciate your answer.

Couldn't see any mention of battery capacity and there seems to be very little in the way of online support for the Apex 15-Lite, eg manuals, drivers, bios updates, how to's etc like Dell for example, but is that maybe coming ?

            Genuinely interested, cheers.

            • @Global Nomad: We have a direct phone line and email contact for customer support; people in Melbourne are also able to take advantage of in person support where we do free servicing/cleaning of laptops under warranty :)

  • Hi there, how long is this offer going for?

  • These look an awful lot like a Sager Notebook NP5856 or similar. Are they just rebranded generic units from supplier?

    • Sager are rebadged Clevo, just like Metabox. Aftershock is different though, and APEX-15 Lite looks much better than that Sager.
