The stock tones with android are pretty crap and I need some suggestions for good ones for my wifes phone. Personally I have the old ICQ oh-oh sound but my wife is a bit of an embarasment with her boring stock tones.

Phone is on silent 100% of the time, and I only ever use my Bose QC35ii to take/make calls.
I can understand why you do that as you get so many notifications from it. mine only makes noise from SMS and calls.
I got most of the Aristocrat Mk 6 and Mk7 sound files if you want them. There’s nothing like seeing the eyes of a fellow degenerate gambler lighting up when your phone goes off.
How about a goat scream, complete with clipping from maxed out volume levels?
Surprise her and make your own… record yourself saying something stupid and make that the tone… don’t tell her you have done it.
Definitely the Crazy Frog ringtone. Everyone loves it.
I've got the healing music from Pokemon (and the Lion King ahhhhhh gonveneryrhhhh for my alarm, wake up feeling majestic lol). I also like the car lock sound, it just feels very unconfrontational. I also don't mind the old school MSN sound.
Make sure you turn the volume up to max when on public transport.

+1 to Zedge. I use the PDA notification sound from the Stalker games. Nobody has ever recognised it yet in about 4 years, but when the day comes, I'll know that person is cool.
This is quite a personal choice there's endless options available online, both paid and free. Why doesn't she select whatever she likes.
