Click on the "Get it for free before 02/10" link. Uplay required.

Steps -
Use Hide me VPN, Its free, you will have to register.
Download the app and connect to Singapore
Click on the Link on here. (presuming you've installed UPLAY and is closed)
Click on Get it for free below the price tag.
You will be prompted to either Download UPlay or Launch UPlay. If you've already installed UPlay the app will launch and require you to sign it.
Once signed in it'll ask to bind the game to your account. press OK and its yours!
Get to the download screen and then exit UPLAY and VPN. you can play in the UK

    After clicking the link it tells me I need an activation code.

    I got it to work by doing the following…
    1) Use browser VPN set to Singapore (I used Tunnlebear)
    2) Use PC VPN set to Singapore (I used NordVPN)
    3) Click the deal link above to go to Ubisoft and click the "get before …" link
    4) Click the button to link to your account when UPlay opens.

    It asked for activation code in UPLAY?

    I am only using Chrome browser VPN.

    EDIT: finally got it.

        Ubisoft won't allow get this with browser login, have to use UPLAY. So my browser VPN doesn't work.

        I have to use AVIRA Phantom VPN which just download and install and no need to register. I have problem registering hide me. With that you can even see the free game in UPLAY.

          Cheers, I kept opening the link through the browser and didn't think to activate the game directly though Uplay.

    Thanks. Claimed no problem using Private Internet Access set to Singapore.

    Using a Singapore proxy also works from what I've read.

    VPN Instructions
    1) Close UPLAY if open. eg System Tray.
    2) Set VPN to South East Asia country. Singapore worked for me.
    3) Open UBI store page and click "GET IT FOR FREE BEFORE 02 / 10"
    4) Open link with UPLAY.
    5) Click download to install or cancel to install later.
    6) Game will now be in you UPLAY library.

      VPN? That's too high tech for old farts like myself…

      I just added the Singapore proxy into Internet Options -> Connection -> LAN Settings -> Proxy Server.
      Restarted browser and Uplay. Clicked on "Get it for free before…" below the ADD TO CART.

    Worked for me on Thailand but I think will work on Taiwan. You can even purchase it as 100% discount but obviously you have to VPN in those country.
    Those in China get it free too I think.

    was able to purchase using Hola extension for Chrome
