Which 65" TV with Media Player

Hi all, Looking for a 65"+ TV with a decent media player built in (if possible).

Do any of them have a media player to match my current Minix 8H+ It is getting long in the tooth and can't play HD Netflix etc and my current TV is on the way out so i thought i could kill 2 birds with one stone (potentially).

Don't need to worry about audio quality of the TV. Picture Quality is in the medium at this stage as this will ultimately go to one of the kids when 4k OLED becomes a bit cheaper.

Thanks.

      Ozbargains favourite TV the Hisense 7 series 65P7, roughly half the price of the established brands.
      Just bought it myself for $1317 delivered
      Need to apply the coupon code 'PASSIONATE' for 20% off at checkout this will bring it down to $1272 + postage.

      Here's a great Whirlpool discussion forums.whirlpool.net.au on the 2018 Hisense TV's.
      Just search for 'P7' for info about Hisense's 2018 series 7 TV's, the 'P' is the the year 2018 and the '7' is the series number.

      The Hisense listed can play 4K HEVC/H265 HDR 10bit movies, get the Xiaomi box or the Vodafone Box for Netflix and you'd have a setup miles ahead of any smart TV.

      Btw I messaged the seller last week and he's expecting more stock in this week.

  • Best budget TVs are still imho Kogan branded ones, so long as you don't care too much about aftercare support.

    Just keep in mind a few points though:

    1. You get what you pay for, and you're paying bargain basement prices;
    2. This isn't an LG or Samsung panel like some of their other TVs (Innolux panel, no idea about quality);
    3. Smart TV so apparently slow start-up;
    4. I can't actually see where it says it definitively streams 4K from Netflix/etc, though all indications point to it being able to do so; and
    5. Without a cracking sale/discount, not sure you can do much better with your combo requirements and budget.
