  I always notice a lot of people who say they love theirs have a gen 2.. As someone on the fence about buying one, are the gen 1s good enpigh, and either way, is it worth instead forking out for a gen 2?

    Gen 2 has more smart lije room mapping. This one will just bounce around to clean

      1st Generation have nearly same laser distance sensor, they have similar mapping function and intelligent route planning, Vacuum function is really good already. 1st Generation support zone clean and Designated Point features as well. Most different features is 2nd Generation have extra mopping function.

    Just for an opposing view, i have a gen 2 and i hate the thing. Constant errors, gets stuck and way more hassle then vacuuming the floor manually so it was a huge waste of money.

    If you have dark floors, or if you have long carpets or power cables under the floor etc it probably wont work. ,
