There are a few of the Arran Whisky on sale here. Haven't tried any yet but I've heard good things and thinking about pulling the trigger. Anyone know if it's worth the money, please feel free to share.

I know it's not the cheapest ever but still seems to be a good price…

Also: Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) is $99 RRP $145. One I have really enjoyed of late.

  A great drop of Arran whiskey the 18 year old has good peat and Smokey depth to it Lochranza has some of the shortest days in Scotland due to hill around it and rains nearly everyday making the water used deliciously peaty.
  The distillery is about to open its second site ar the south of the island which will offer a much gentler single malt i will have to wait a few years for it
  When the original distillery opened I invested in a hogshead only to sell it back at a very handsome price 10 years later
  If you can get one of the 25 year single malts it’s a treat

    So I had to go check my bottle… Not sure what 18yr you've got.. mine is un-peated. As is the one in the deal…
    Nevertheless this is a delicious whiskey

  Depends what style whiskey you like if you want recommendations? If you are in Melbourne, this store is worth a visit! You can taste a good range of whiskey in store and save buying something you don't like.
