  • Don't need it but that's a nice looking bedside light. Definitely better than first gen!

    • Oh, this is the second gen?

    • I have the 2nd gen wifi one, well 3 of them and they are great, kid proof as my kids have dropped them many times.
This one looks a lot more bulky then the previous models, so not sure about the look in the bedroom

      • Ah yes I forgot that they released an updated version with WiFi.

What about paying USD via a 28 degrees card or similar? PayPal's exchange rates are known to be bad

    • +1

You should not use PayPal conversion. Change it to your credit card conversion rate and check how it goes.

    • Today's Mastercard rate is $27.75 AU :)

Does the lamp act as a hub for the mijia thermometers?

  • Does this newer lamp still work with Google assistant? I can only see Siri and Apple mentioned..

  • Remember when Chinese New Year meant good sales on OzBargain?

    • Those were the days, kids now days wont know what chinese bargains are anymore

    • Pepperidge farm remembers

  • Seems like a good price for the HomeKit enabled Bedside Lamp 2. I couldn’t find it advertised cheaper elsewhere (although cash back on AliExpress would beat it by a few dollars). This one comes with 5-12 business day shipping so might be quicker than Ali.

  • Where do you get A$52 AUD ?

    Cart Subtotal $45.99
    Discount (MJLampAU) -$9.00
Shipping Singapore Registered Air Mail $13.06
    Order Total $50.05

there is no free shipping option

    • Once you fill in your delivery address it drops down to 36.99USD and displays free shipping. That 50.05 is in USD.

    • Hi,

It only supports to ship to Australia by free shipping. For others countries, not supports the free shipping.

      Thanks.

  • For the lamp, its $9 USD of discount per order. If you want 2, make two orders :)

  • showing 54 for me for the lamp

  • Do I need 2 lamps for one bedroom or will one suffice?

  • When does this deal expire?

  • Ordered the earbuds a few days ago when the deal was posted but the order is still processing with no indication when they may ship it

    • Yep. I ordered in the hour of the deal being posted but mines showing as processing “restocking”, which is disappointing as it was showing as available throughout the checkout process.

      • Just checked and mine also says this. Very frustrated actually. Will ping rep to investigate

  • My earbuds are still stuck on processing.

    • Must be a specific issue with the earbuds, my lamp is in transit and has just arrived in Sydney.

      • Mine finally got out of processing today. Finally received in Shenzhen.

  • So I bought 2 lamps and both are faulty, anyone else have faulty lamps? Colours don't work on one and the touch dial keeps moving without being touched causing light brightness to change. Getting a replacement/refund should be interesting, already sent an email with video.

    • I got my lamp yesterday and it’s all working. Does resetting them to factory settings or upgrading their firmware have any effect?

      • Do you know how to do a factory reset? I also checked via the Mi Home app and no firmware updates we're available, I'm assuming that's how you check?

        • Yep that’s right, you check for updates through the app. If you already have it connected to the app then you would have probably done a reset already:

Hold power button and mode button for 5 seconds, the lamp will start flashing. After 3 seconds, the light will turn white, which means the lamp has been reset to default.

          • @Hargain Bunter: So I found the issue, I was trying to use alternative Aussie plugs instead of the power supplies provided. Found a few Chinese adapters lying around from other purchases, so now it works like a charm. Dodged a bullet there! Shame Gearvita doesn't give adapters.

            • @apopularitycontest: Oh good to hear! I was also expecting they would come with a Chinese power supply, rather than a US one. Luckily I too, had a spare adapter floating around.

  • QCY T1C's finally arrived yesterday and they are pretty damn good for $30. They were marked as T1 rather than T1C assuming the C is for export naming. No issues so far.
