I've seen people pay around the same for this lens 2nd hand. RRP is around $299.
It's not the lowest price it's ever been, but not too far off - I might pull the trigger on it if I can't find the 12-35mm f2.8 2nd hand lens for a decent price.

hei mate have you tried that oly for astrophotography? any good?
I have a 12-40mm pro but I am thinking to sell it as it makes the camera bulky :S
Panasonic 20mm f1.7 is half the price and just a little tighter. Smaller too.
Only downside is the relatively slow and noisy autofocus, but it’s fast, tiny and very sharp. The downsides of the 20mm are noticeable in video but doesn’t really matter the much for photos.
Yeah I have, does the job nicely.
I couldn't sell my 12-40, it's too good. Still seems lightweight compared to the Canon gear I used to use loltrue, I come from a Canon too… but I am very obsessed with travelling light.

Same here with PL15, but I was surprised how much airtime the O25 got. At this price just do it.
Is this 25mm 1.7 as the same as the freebie in the following links? If yes which makes the combo a good deal I reckon.
