Valentines Day is over.
Finally can afford a rose.

$1.50 single stem, down from $10.
There are 2 buckets of them. Bunches of roses are also on discount for clearance. Good for tighta$$ to celebrate belated Valentines Day.

PS. some petals are brown.

      I like your thinking. You could probably cover them with a thick layer of hair spray. Has anyone tried freezing them?

      It's not that long ago that my now wife and I used to go on 60 cent dates. A quick trip through the maccas drive through for two 30c cones and then drive to one of the nearby scenic lookouts to eat and chat.

        Freeze them and when they defrost they go limp and yucky.

        Dry them instead, I still have my prom flowers. Red goes dark red and a bit brown. White goes yellow.

    I wonder how much ALDI will be selling the $50 bunch !! You could literally sell per item on gumtree and eBay after Aldi marked down to $10.

    some of the Aldi stores that still have stock, have the 50 roses on sale too. Don't look the best…but if your other half is a hard core ozbargainer, I'm sure they will understand
