Borders are selling all books for $3.99 at their stores which are closing down in the US, can't believe they are still ripping us off here….
Borders in the US is not the same company as Borders here. I agree that it's still going to be cheaper to buy online, but you probably can't really compare them like that.
They will just keep reducing the prices by more & more as the days pass. The local Angus & Robertson got down to $2 for all hardcovers & $1 for all paperbacks on their last day of business recently. So if you wait you might get some real bargains, if any good ones are left by then.
I agree, even with 40% off… they are more expensive than the US.
