Anyone have any suggestions or input?

  • Bugger wish there was a deal for the 65 inch model

  • The Best TV for Video Games according to The Wirecutter:

With support for automatic low latency mode and adaptive frame rate along with low input lag and good picture quality, the Samsung NU8000 is the best TV for video games.

  • Damm, still not cheap enough for me, think Appliances Online had it for 1030 + del a few months back…Might hold off yet see if it comes down again.

Not a bad price but just not enough to entice me. I think I'll be waiting for the RU8000 to come out with updated features and 240hz.

  • For anyone considering this, the picture used in the ad is for the NU7100, not the 8000. The specs are correct though. The 8000 has a "T" shape stand.

Good price for a great TV but getting the settings 'right' took up more time than I wanted.

I initially bought the NU7100 and brought it back to JB the following day for the NU8000 because it was simply crap. Got JB to knock it down to $1269.

Yeah it's so much better than the NU7100 but you do need to correct colours, motion, sharpness, brightness settings, etc as by default they're not the best. Get the settings right and you get an awesome picture.
