      It's not medical or professional grade scale, it is more if an indicator, in the same way as fitbits and other heart and blood monitoring devices that are made for general public use.

        I bought the Amazon one yesterday for $22.99 and received today. You should mention why your product is special than others if you more like and sale instead of arguing the price without knowing how Amazon works.
        To be honest, the Amazon one looks professional, easy to setup and I got everything up and running in less than 5 minutes. The App integrates with Fitbit and Apple Health.

        Requires permissions "runs at startup" and "full network access" and "read phone call status and identity". I won't be installing this app, it's got the hallmarks of spyware and/or a bitcoin miner.

          App runs in start up, so when you step on the scale. It automatically starts and records the data in the app. Which saves you starting the app manually. You can disable it in settings if you wish you to change it. Bluetooth can be used to locate devices hence it falls under permission for location.

            @tandoor5: I don't think you're reading my comment correctly. Nothing I mentioned has anything to do with bluetooth or location.

            "full network access" means you want to send data to a server on the internet, otherwise you would have used a different permission that let you receive data only, like "receive data from internet".

            "read phone call status and identity" lets you know when the phone is on a call, AND THE PHONE NUMBER YOU ARE CALLING. Why do you need that permission?
