    36 months though :/

  • +10

    never sign up to these 36m so called deals

    • +1

      If the contract is 36m, doesn't that mean that ACL lasts longer than a 24m contract?

      • Thats what I was thinking too

        • Yes it does

  • +9

    Wow Galaxy Bud worth $2496. Thanks OP ordered 10 plans.

    • Fixed now, copy pasting the email changed the subscript font.

  • "Bonus Galaxy Buds worth $2496." That's some expensive earphones!

  • +1

    farking 36 months

  • +4

    you can opt for 24 months plan and still get $250 discount.

    • +2

      Thank you, I have updated the title

  • Whats the standard data per month?

  • +4

    S10+ 24 month plans
    3GB = $72.03 per month
    10GB = $82.03 per month
    22GB = $92.03 per month

    22GB = $74.68 per month
    35GB = $84.68 per month

    • Cheers, I have added to the OP

  • Does that mean that the phone is now at 3 years warranty

    • I don't think so. Isn't it the standard 2 years?

    • +3

      Surely this tests the premise of the warranty period given they're selling it with the suggestion it'll be good for 36 months.

      I'm sure I recall that 1 year warranties were put to bed because of 2 year phone contracts.

      • +1

        Thats what i thoight too

        In laymans terms you cant sell something that wont last the duration of the contract.

        Would be interesting if youe phone broke in year 2.5.

        Woolworths would probably just give you a refurb rather than repair

    • That's what I thought as well. I thought the handset has to last as long as the contract

    • Pretty sure a carrier has to cover the phone for the entire duration of a contract under law.

  • So the 5000 reward points should be targeted?
    I didn't received email and there is no reward points offer on their website.

  • With Woolies data rollover up to 100GB and the 15GB sign up bonus and 20Gb every 3 months you get over 8GB / month on average.

    • look at it this way, you will be out of contract when S13 is release.. keep away

    • where can i find more info on 15 GB sign up bonus?

      • When you choose the plan your will see once off sign up data offer as well as bonus data every 3 months

    • Do they do rollover data for all new plans now? I have the s8+ plan with them and there is no rollover.

      • Looks like it for the S10 plans 24 and 36

  • If I was signing a 3 year contract now I would at least want something with 5G, given it will probably be here within a year.

  • Will it be a dual sim stock or single sim only? Can anyone confirm please?

    • +1

      Australia never gets local dual sim Samsung.

      • Amazon appears to have the dual sim Australian model phones on sale

  • +1

    Really good deal S10+ 128GB 8GB telstra network 24 month contract total cost $1678.72 after cashback.

    • I'm currently with woolworths mobile and plan finishes up in May - tempted to pay the balance of $118 and jump on this..

      • Pretty tempting. S10+ (rrp $1499) + Galaxy Bud (rrp $249) all for around $1679 on 24 month contract.
        Even better given that with 15GB signup bonus + 20GB 'school holday' bonus every 3 months means the 3GB plan really ends up closer to 10GB data every month.

        • and -$50 for Cashrewards also

  • It says in the critical information summary:

    Early Termination Charge
    If you cancel your Plan, there are no early termination charges. However:
    a) you will need to pay the Minimum Monthly Charge and any outstanding charges owing on your Plan; and
    b) all outstanding charges and unpaid instalments under your Handset Payment Plan will immediately become due and
    payable.

    Does it mean if I decide to cancel the plan after 3 months, I can cancel and pay let's say $72.03 if I took the cheapest plan, then payout the remaining balance on the mobile (that is $1249 - 3months x $52.03 = $1092.91)? Surely I am misunderstanding something…

    • I'm pretty sure point a) implies you still have to pay the monthly fee for the remainder of the contract… i.e. a) + b) = pay out the full cost of the contract… not worth cancelling.

    • I believe that is correct. If I choose the $20 plan and the s10e it says the minimum cost would be $1218.80 which is the RRP for the phone ($1199) plus one month's plan. So this deal would be helpful for those without $1199 straight up to spend or whose employer might pay a plan but not want to buy a phone for you, but it would be better to buy outright if you can claim TRS or cashrewards from say Amazon

  • I was looking to sign up for this and it said discount appears at checkout, but the amount at check out was the same as the amount advertised on the page. Do they just charge the discounted amount or is there a glitch?
    I'm keen to sign up for the 22GB over the 24 months but the $92 is more appealing than the $106 I am currently seeing.

  • Seems that $250 discount expires on the 28th February.

  • Shopback has this also for the $50….is shopback or cashrewards better to use?

  • +1

    I did it!
