    Anyone tried the soundbar? Just wondering how good it would be on a TV (for voice, not bass) might make the bedroom tv not sound so tinny (& have to crank the volume up to hear the dialog).

        For the loungeroom tv, i use a samsung soundbar. The sound is very good and it's got a "night mode" which lowers the bass but increases the voice, so we can watch tv and not wake the rest of the house.

      Been using the BA07s with QC35s for days now.

      Only thing I noticed I need to pair every time I want to use the QC35 with the transmitter.

      Easy though, hold the button on the transmitter for a few seconds, then switch QC35 on pairing mode.. light on BA07 turn blue. All done.

      The BA07 hangs from the 3.5mm socket, while the BA08 is designed to sit on your stand/shelf.

      The BA08 also has double the battery life of the BA07.

      They both work well, no matter which you choose.

          Yes, they are perfect for travelling, they are both small and will easily fit in your pants pocket. The BA08 also has volume controls on the unit.

      I find the volume control handy. I have a Samsung TV mounted on the wall and don't want to have to take it off to get access to the ports on the back, and the TV refuses to pair with my XM3s, but pairs fine with the receivers. However with the BA07 having no volume control it's just super loud, does accept volume control commands from the Sony's and the TV doesn't control Bluetooth headphone volume.

      Using the receiver with the volume control makes this a workable solution.

    Will this be fine to use with a standalone monitor output via 3.5mm Jack? Have a chromecast connected via HDMI to the monitor but the monitor's sound output is not so good.

      Yes, it should be fine. My monitor is connected to my PC via HDMI cable, and the Sound Bar is plugged into my monitor and it works fine.

    I purchased a cheap USB Bluetooth receiver to connect my TaoTronics Bluetooth headset to my PC, however the audio was really poor quality. This was most likely due to the USB receiver as the headset works fine with my phone's bluetooth. Which of the receivers that you have listed would suit getting good audio quality via bluetooth when connected to my PC? Cheers :)

      yes i got one. its not great. holds the phone while driving but when you take off your phone, it pulls the vent mount off the vents because the magnet is too strong and its annoying to put back everytime.

        Some of the reviews for the BA07 mention a loud hissing sound when paired with a Bluetooth device (which is then resolved when the device is not being charged). Have you experienced this?

          I don't have it plugged into my TV, it is plugged into my Home Theatre system instead.

          I haven't experienced a large hissing with this, but I used to with my old phone and certain earphones, which was normally resolved by turning the 3.5mm plug. I think it was because the 3.5mm socket on my old phone was faulty or dirty.

          I am not saying this is the cause you mentioned above but this is the only thing I can relate to what you have described.
