CHEAP CAT DESEXING - $20 for male cats, $50 for female cats
A program, for financially disadvantaged residents of the Mornington Peninsula Shire, has been set up to have cats desexed at the above rates. This has been funded by an Animal Welfare Society, NOT the Mornington Peninsula Shire! The numbers are limited so you need to get in quick! To be eligible for this program you need to hold a health care card or a pension card.
To take advantage of this offer please contact Julie on 5156 1296 or 0423 682 158 Mon-Sund 9am-5pm ONLY. Julie will send you a desexing voucher and then you need to ring Mornington Veterinary Clinic on 5975 3811 (4/1140 Nepean Highway Mornington ) to book your cat in and state you have a desexing voucher. When bringing your cat into the clinic please provide the voucher, show health care/pension card, photo identification and pay either $20 or $50 up front. For kittens to be desexed they need to weigh 1 kilo or more.
Please note: Mornington Vet clinic is accessible by many bus services such as 781, 784, 785, 788 and you can take your cat on the bus provided it is in a cat cage.
