Again if someone had the link, I'd appreciate it.

Note that this is NOT Valkyria Chronicles 4, but rather the first installment.

Haven't tried the series myself so I'm tempted by this price.

Also worth noting that the game is 7.4GB

  Note: I'm not sure if it's been fixed or not, but the last I checked, it had TERRIBLE frame rate issues

    Damn. That's unfortunate. Is it trying to hit 60 or 30? And does it affect gameplay at all?

      I can't find the article that I originally read when it came out, but it put me off buying the game at the time. Looking up stuff again and it seems to have the FPS issues when you play it in the dock for some reason.

        From memory when you delve deeper (at least for VK4) the reports are that the PC version is identical, it's meant to simulate the shock of battle.

        I bought VK4 on switch but haven't played it yet.

          @justtoreply: I finished VK4, you'll enjoy it if you like VK1.

          What you're referring to is different, VK4 adds a mortar class, when you get hit with one of them you get flung back, a "ringing in your ears" happens and the game intentionally slows down to simulate as you said, the shock of battle.

          People were mentioning for the Switch port of VK1, that even standing still the FPS can drop drastically.

  It's turn based so slow down isn't an issue. I'm at chapter 4 and haven't noticed any. The art style has really held up well as it was originally a PS3 title. $13.50 is excellent for this game.

  Plus you can recruit Vyse and Aika from Skies of Arcadia into your squad!
