Cashrewards - Whats The Longest 'overdue' Claim You Have Had?

Currently sitting on a DJ's purchase, worth ~$90 thats still not finalised
9th Nov, and should have finalised by 12th Feb

Still 'Pending'
Enquired 10 days ago and was still 'pending in their system' (i assume they mean DJ's system shrug)

Was a manual claim as it didn't track properly (was during DJ's sale and their site was acting a bit slow, plus cashrewards was offering a higher % at the time…) but all the doco was provided

I wouldn't mind if it was a small value, but this is about my biggest CR ever. Going to be annoyed if it never comes through when I followed all the steps

So, whats the longest overdue you've had that still came through?

  • Maybe query the cashback through the website. There is a chat button on each line next to transaction date. Click on that and send them a message. My cashback was overdue and I did that. It got sorted out pretty quickly after that.

    I had a look through mine, longest wait was 10 months for $70, had another that took 8 months for $80.

    Yeah, it can take a while but it's free money and they've always paid me out and been good about it, saved me a bit over $300 so far. I wouldn't stress about it, particularly if it's not been that long.

    • Maybe, but they are the one that sets the dates for payout.

      DJs is already 3 mths from data of purchase, which would seem like plenty of time to automate whatever data summary needs to happen to send cr their cut.

      Plenty of other successful purchases via cr, but knew it would be my luck that the largest one I've had would be the one that has issues.

      • Agree with SBOB, experiencing the same now with a purchase from November 26th. Cashrewards have always been inconsistent for me, they refused to pay out on $12 asos cashback but a $1 cashback was paid out for a later purchase made a month later with the same shop..Never had a problem with ShopBack so far but I've heard a few complaints about them as well- guess it's just the luck of the draw

    • Id say nervous is a better description than impatient. If a date and timeline is established and you go past that its okay to be a little concerned. I guess I would compare it to a postal delivery that was due on Monday and now it's Friday and it hasn't arrived. It's not just that you're impatient its that you are afraid its been lost in transit.

      @SBOB Cashrewards has a vested interest to get it tracked and credited to them. They also get paid when it goes through, and then pay us. The bigger the cashback, the more worthwhile it is for them. Good luck with the tracking!

    Yeah, it can take a while but it's free money

    Not always… often buyers pay more for something, or don't use discount code, then buy through cash rewards because it works out a slightly better deal if the cash reward is paid .
    This means when cash rewards don't pay what is owed, buyer loses out.

    Ended up hitting up TA for some assistance and, as usual, definitely a helpful guy.
