  • Are these the enormous ones? Do people really use them or are they too unwieldy?

    • +1

They appear to be a little longer than your average wine glass, but normal in size.

I think the ones you are thinking of are the Som Series Grand Cru which are massive and ridiculously impractical to use day to day

I think so. These are listed at $100 per couple on their website.

You're probably thinking of the XL. They aren't that big, probably similar sized to the Plumm equivalent.

  • If you're in the market for Riedel glassware, you might get lucky buying it after wine tastings etc from bottle-shops/cellar doors once they're finished with them. Sometimes they're giving them away for a steal ($90/doz etc) so pays to keep an eye out or make friends over some red.

    • Even for Vinum at that price? Seen discounted O’s all the time but not vinum.

      • The ones I have a degustazione red wine glasses

Will go a treat with my De Bortoli 4L Shiraz, cheers!

Edit: Legit though, might pick some up.

EditEdit: Legit always have a cask on hand too, haha.

  • Anyone seen these at other Dan’s?

    • Probably in-store marked down. Even when changing the Uncle Dan's app to Ipsy didn't change the price displayed.

  • rrp $100?!

Nothing beats old Tommy mustard glasses! steady, strong and oh my god that mustard! :)

  • $50 a glass at rrp? Wow…

Even at $15 it's a little too rich for me.

  • I have some of these,
The good: They are very thin light and look very fancy
The bad: I smashed 2 of them handwashing - with not much pressure, and one of them in dishwasher after it fell over as the tines didn't hold it upright.
