How Are You Guys Planning to Watch Captain Marvel

The event cinemas at my local mall only really has vmax and gold class, so our only option is vmax, and on top of that it's $23.50. My friends aren't willing to pay as much, what should I do? What are you guys doing

  • telstra thanks tickets

  • We only go on Tuesdays.

  • #BoycottLarson!

A guy in my friends group has cheap tickets. Actually I think I have like $14 Vmax tix too. Probably use those.

  • Reading Cinemas - Premium Cinema (recliners) - $17.50 each inc booking fee, on the first Friday night I think

2hrs long so won't justify gold class (that's for 3hr long ones lol)

Everyone justifies the money differently. My ass isn't comfortable in Vmax for that length of time. The seats are too upright, not enough leg room (I'm 190cm).

I save gold class for my favourite movies. Recently it's been star wars. Gold Lounge reading for me is about $22 or so.

    With my eyes

when it comes out on Stan/Netflix

I'll be going as part of a charity fundraiser. Yes it's $33, but it's for a good cause and you do get a popcorn and drink.

    Captain who?

      Captain Shazam

    • I believe its Doctor Who.

      Captain Feminism.

After all, nothing says fairness quite like kneecapping the current leader.

the real question should be how to get cheaper movie tickets

  • +2

Telstra thanks + Vmax surcharge. I would go the gold class but there are none in my state.

A lot of movies can be watched at home, but I think the marvel universe ones deserve a huge ass screen and sound system

Having your computer raped to death by hackers is still a better experience than going to the average cinema session.

  • Bought cheap tickets I think $9 or $10 last year for this and Endgame

    I don't

  • Nah, sounds meh.

I’m hoping the actual movie isn’t as preachy as the trailer makes it seem

    • +1

Expectation is the seed of disappointment.

  • +2

    I won't be watching it.

The OzB way - for free!

  • I'll be going to Cineplex as always. I've seen VMAX once and it was not worth paying more than twice the price.

  • Probably on free-to-air television in about 18 months time

  • I'd rather watch The Last Jedi, specifically when they go to the gambling planet (and whatever happens after) then see another marvel movie.

Unless you want a movie marathon, in which case be my guest 😂

      • you got my back ;)

  • Everytime i go gold class, it;s a tiny cinema

I want Big screen, vmax screen and sound for MCU movies, not the 40 person baby recliner theatre :(

  • Surely… trying to catch up first day ticket..

  • with what they charge in cinemas these days, I haven't been to see anything there in years

  • Watched it last night. Waste of money. Worst MCU movie yet

Brie larson will be the downfall of marvel. Huge mistake casting her.
