    Thanks r0xz. I noticed this the other day but then when I searched the videopro store I could only find the silver edition, assumed they sold out. But have snatched one now :-)

  when this came out in october lat year, it was $600..

  there was was an ebay site wide of 10% and a a week earlier 10% off gift cards,

  which equated to $486

  then within a few days,
  this happened video pro had for some reason had it for $509 i took a screen shot and used ebay best price guarantee and got another 5% off the difference

  $486-$56=430

  then i travelled to japan and claimed TRS on the original amount paid of $540

  so total i paid for the the GOpro Hero 7 Black was something like $380

      i dont remember exactly..

      i actually could have gotten TRS for $600 as the retailer would have sent me the invoice for the original amount,,

      it all happened so quickly, but the end result was almost half the price of the original

  Not really a deal. Got one around christmas with a 20% off Good Guys ebay code which bought the price down to $450.

  If you don't need it urgently, suggest you wait.

  Do what I did and get JB Hi-Fi to price match Amazon. YMMV but I was successful in getting the Broadway NSW store to price match when Amazon had it for $499 at the end of January
