  We recently had them at $599 from the $699RRP however we have bought the complete lot available. This is it no more and they are brand new sealed. Great deal considering the awards they've won.

  Are these self powered or do they require a receiver? I mean can I just plug them to my soundcard on the PC and use them as speakers?

    passives, require a 2.0 amp, you can search on eBay cute class D amp by Indeed to get a good idea of a good price/perf amp.

      I looked up the indeed amp. They've put a case on a $12 amp and charge $56. Are the components that much better than the other versions on eBay?

        probably not. back when I was shopping, the SMSL was always recommended left and right, but this had better specs for the same price as SMSL's cheapest amp, so I went for this instead. there are probably much better deals now, especially since Amazon AU became a thing, and please let me know so I can update my recommendations :)

        EDIT: might be better to buy the bare PCB if you found it, and 3d print a case for it, but with a nice heatsink directly on the amp chip. I've stuck a 20cmx10cm heatsink on top of my case with thermal paste and have a little fan blowing on it to keep it cool. It's not directly cooling the amp chip. Not necessary according to the manufacturer, but it's nice to not accidentally get burned.

    The SMSL AD18 from Amazon for $187 works well with my Q Acoustic 3020 speakers as a PC set up in the sunroom.

    Lack of bass does not bother me. (Have a full size 7.1 set up elsewhere.)

    Sounds really good playing FLACs.

    These will be a bit better.

    Yep Funky Dan, the speaker stands are at a ridiculous price :)

  Dammit, bought speakers yesterday, some nice epos floorstanders. I'm really happy with them, but my ht system is q acoustics, really like the brand. Probably would've grabbed these.

  You must have 10s of thousands of units. I put 20000 units for order and according to your system you are able to fullfil this.
