Sydney from $659 Return to Berlin, Germany on Scoot (One Stop in Singapore) @ FlightScout [July-September]

190

Found via FlightScout, useful for seeing the range of cheaper dates, although the prices actually seem lower when you click through to skyscanner (the joys of caching I guess).

Example:

15 July to 2 Sep
From: Sydney
To: BERLIN, Germany
Airline: Scoot
Stopover: SIN (Singapore)

Yes, it's a budget airline. But if you can travel with just carry-on (and many of us do!), and put up with the quality of Scoot's inflight service, then for this price you're in Germany for 3 months (in example at least).

  • Should come with tips what to do in Singapore starting from 4am during 21h stop over

Don't even need to leave the airport if you don't want to. Games room, pool, butterfly house, sunflower garden, and much more. Plus there's the free tour of Singapore from the airport, if you hand over your passport.

I did the free 'transit' tour from the airport. You definitely don't need to hand over your passport at any stage. The only downside is you have to take your carry-on luggage with you when you leave the bus at each of the stops. Something about the bus being considered a part of the airport and any luggage left unattended is a security threat etc. I highly recommend the tour — great way to spend a few hours. Be sure to book as soon as you arrive as the tours tend to book quickly.

        • You can leave your carry-on stuff at the airport at the baggage storage facilities located in every terminal

          • @grips: Yep, good point. I completely overlooked that!

    • Quick trip to Gaylang. Good street food and cheap beer. Other entertainment options available.

You had me at Berlin $659 return, and then lost me at Scoot.

  • So no Code Share with a better airline for the Singapore-> Berlin leg?
