  • Wow. It's cheaper than the triangles?

While it is cheaper. Still insanely high for what it is, led light panels.

    • I agree but Cololight on Gearbest for reference with a much smaller panel is like 60 bucks for three panels. Still just as expensive once you factor in how small those panels are.

Not sure why they're all ripping us off :(

      • Because they can?

        • Of course. Need more players to make these panels

Could you buy 230,400 of these sets and make a 13010" 1080p screen for $49k?

Stupid overpriced product. It needs a further 67% off. Serious.

I've been pretty interested in these since seeing them in JBHifi but the price for what you get is ludicrous. Under $200 is a step in the right direction but they're still a while off breaking the market. You're better off learning about Arduinos/Raspberry Pi's and making a far more functional setup yourself.

Regardless - this is the best price I can find so you've earned my +

as i refuse to pay RRP

The RRP is there to convert people at lower prices because they think they're getting a deal as the anchoring effect occurs unconsciously and automatically.

  • If you haven invested in these types of panels then they are probably ok at that price, but the triangles are slightly larger in terms of real estate. Waiting for them to have them at $199 again at JB, but doesn't seem to be happening.

The square sets can connect more panels in 1 set. The triangles ones only link 30 max. The square ones are touch sensitive. A bit gimmicky to me.

The square ones are $ 299 at moment at JB.

    • Didn't realise, but Kogan also do have the Aurora triangle smarter kit for $199. $10 postage or $14.99 to Melb if purchasing 2 sets. The 3 panel set out of stock. That works out to be about $22-23. Cheapest at the moment if you missed out on the Mvave deal recently. If you get the rythem controller or set these lights are a lot more dynamic as with that controller its also sound sensitive and react to sound.

If you haven't used your google home with a set of lights yet these are a great fun additional.

  • Can also get the extension kit, pretty decent price considering this is their latest offering. Keep in mind they are working on the hexagon shape too.

Must take a lot of R&D to re-invent the hexagon.

      • Apparently 😂
