What's the fees on selling something for $100? I have a pair of dirty socks from yesterday that I'm thinking of selling for $100, and my Mrs wants to buy them.

    • 10.9% of final price + PayPal fee (2.6% + 0.30c).

Though I don't see anything that says you can't use a promotional listing. If you can use the $0 fee free listing post made earlier today, then yeah, just the PayPal 2.6%….

edit: or I guess just claim it was Bank Direct Deposit and pay nothing.

Thanks, and before people say "socks aren't tech", these are moisture wicking socks.

    • I have a pair of dirty jocks from yesterday that i'm selling for $100. Let me know if your Mrs wants to buy them also.

  • Cheers OP :)

  • Time to get rid of sparked no joy stuff.

Wife and kids aren't electronic sadly.

$50 doesn't make any “surface devices” and “xbox consoles” prices attractive. Ebay / Microsoft fail.

2 to 5% off = no deal. Wait for a better ebay code or go to a store and haggle.

Xbox is cheaper at the official MS store (even without amex) https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/store/collections/xboxheadse…

With accessories & games excluded there isn't any deal here.

Your Xbox link goes to a Unidays exclusive discount - this is the link for the consoles

      • Thanks, good point!

Still worth waiting IMHO. $349 for an S or $599 for an X just isn't cutting the mustard. If it could be combined with a discount code (these coupons can't) it would very much have been a deal.

Ended up grabbing a copy of red dead redemption 2 for $8 with the $50 voucher seems to work on all Microsoft’s listings.

Yeah, I got my voucher today and ended up doing the same thing. I've already played it, but it seems like the best bang for my buck on Microsoft's store, resale-value-wise.

  • I ended up getting the white sports edition controller for $49.95 after the $50 discount.
