    In itself it's probably an OK deal, but compared to the Intel 660p also available from Amazon (and cheaper) this isn't much chop.
    If you're restricted to SATA over M.2 then this might be ok, but the 660p is an NVME unit capable of over 1GB/s.

    The Intel one is here…

    ~ $190 Without prime, ~ $180 with prime

    ::edit:: Corrected intel model #

    This WD unit ~ 550MB/s read / 500MB/s write
    Intel unit ~ 1400MB/s read / 1000MB/s write

      Please read the reviews before jumping on the intel 660p: https://www.storagereview.com/intel_ssd_660p_series_review

      • Nothing wrong with it that i can see.
        It's pretty low end for an NVME drive, but $ per capacity & performance it's decent.
        There are many, many better NVME SSD's around, but none near this price point.

    Yep, and it helps to put M.2 SATA in the title… deal looked OK till I saw it was M.2 sata
