Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 32GB Wi-Fi $328 @ Officeworks

190

A great deal for a large sized tablet. I'm not all that familiar with 10.5" sized screens but this seems good value as the RRP is $449 at other stores.

This is the entry model of the Samsung tablets and not the Tab S models.

  • Picked up a brand new sealed Galaxy S2 8.0 today for $150. Felt like a good price for the specs, anyone care to tell me if I did OK or I got ripped?

    • Where from

      • Gummy, I just wanted something cheap to use with my drone really and found this at a fair bit cheaper price than the Tab A's.

Friend, the tab s2 thats an ok price. its still a capable tablet although the battery isnt that great. one benefit is it has a 4:3 ratio, although if you watch a lot of movies then it may be more of a downside. Doesn't work with the s pen though which is a real let down

      • Cheers for the info, the s-pen would have been wasted on me. I didn't like or use it with my Note 5.

      That's a very good price.
I've been keeping an eye on the Samsung tablets as I've bought 2 for myself over the years and one for someone else.
The screens on the S series of tablets are just stunning, as you've probably now noticed.
I bought the S4 10.5" a few months ago and love it, everyone else who's used it comments on the screen after watching a video also.
OLED, don't settle for anything less!!!

      • Yeah the screen is really nice. Just ordered a turtle skin for it from Amazon and then it's ready to go.

    • Thats a great price for s2! I have had mine for over a year and its brilliant. I just did a long flight watched a whole season of a netflix series (10 episodes) no charging in between with 35% battery to spare!

  • Just bought two of these. Not quite as good as the Good Guys deal earlier in the year, but still a very good price.

Now if TGG reduce their eBay price to $328, stack with 20% and get even cheaper :)

  • I would buy xiaomi mi pad 4 in this price range - 8 inch screen size but it is a much better unit compared to Samsung or Lenevo

    • Friend, dont they have an ips screen and no spen equivalent? just some features one might find important

      • According to the samsung web site, their model listed here has TFT screen.

I got Officeworks to beat HN on this earlier this morning. Officeworks changed their price from $414 to $328 after I did it.

And still no positive vote for this deal from you jay43

I don't mind that OP posted the deal. I said in the forum thread that I don't know how to post deals. I posted it in the forums this morning in case it helped someone else. This thread was posted this afternoon.

        • Also, if what you say is true, it's because of your price match this morning that this post was able to be realised. He owes you a

          "plus vote" too lol.

          • +1

@ozhunter68: That's right. It doesn't bother me at all with votes. In fact I don't even know how they work.

I posted it in the forums in the hope someone who knows how to would post it as a deal so that others could benefit.

I am the reason Officeworks had to lower their price. They got onto it immediately so that they didn't have to give anyone else 5% off. They laughed at me when I told them the Harvey Norman price at first as they didn't believe it.

  • Price now matched at Amazon

  • my nexus 7 2013 is starting to fail. need a replacement tablet. is this a good replacement or can someone suggest an alternative. budget is $400 or less. cheers

  • Ordered one yesterday and predicts home delivery on Monday. But seems to be mostly out of stock around Perth and suburbs.

  • thanks, will try to buy with gift cards.

  • Did anyone price match with jbhifi this week?
And willing to share photo of receipt?
