This Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer is the hair dryer re-thought. It's turned convention on its head - with the powerful motor in the handle instead of the head, rebalancing the weight and shape. It is acoustically tuned via a noise vibration reduction system and has negative ions to help reduce static. The high velocity airflow dries hair fast. A microprocessor measures the air temperature 20 times every second and controls heat, helping to prevent extreme heat damage and protect natural shine. The attachments are magnetic and they stay cool thanks to their heat shield technology. The styling concentrator styles one section at a time with focused, high-velocity air the smoothing nozzle is for gentle drying and styling and the diffuser evenly disperses air around each curly ringlet to simulate natural drying, help reduce frizz and improve definition. It has Fast drying and Styling (100 degrees Celcius), Regular drying (80 degrees Celcius), Gentle drying (60 degrees Celcius) and Constant cold (28 degrees Celcius) settings, and the filter is cleaned by simply twisting and releasing.

    i bought it 2 christmas's ago for my parter at HN with an Amex deal for $400. it is the best hair dryer she has used. it didn't come come with a comb, but you could redeem a stand for it (which is super handy). it is well built and relatively quiet for a hair dryer.

      I prefer my Parlux over the Dyson. Although it's slightly noisier, the amount of air coming out of them are comparable, and so is the drying time, for half the price.
