NU8000 65" vs NU7100 75"

Hey guys, unsure if I should go with the newer model but smaller size TV vs the older one with an extra 10 inches.

Roughly viewing distance of 3.6 meters, and the room does get fairly bright.

Open to other recommendations, but roughly in the same price range (less than 2k).

First post, thanks for all your help, sorry English is not my first skill.

  • Size is probably gonna be something you need to go to a local store to check yourself for. If its worth the 10 inch increase over the improved viewing of the nu8000. Bright room problems add points to the getting the 8000 . Don't forget that the 8000 has a different remote too in case you still need to use free to air alot.

  • 75p7 is another option

    • Thank you for your answer, would you recommend p7 over the 7100 if I go the 75inch?

      • haven't got one so cant comment, but it's cheaper currently

  • I have an old school 75F6400 and wouldn’t go back to a smaller screen
Probably get an OLed as an upgrade once it become more affordable
My theatre room is 6x6 and about 3-4m viewing distance more or less

  • I have owned a number of Samsung TVs, both FHD and 4K and often sit there thinking 'Sh*t that picture looks good'. I have never been completely sure why all the ones I have look so awesome, but I strongly suspect the reason is the 200Hz panel. If I was to buy another TV, would definitely pick the NU8000 with 200Hz over the NU7100 with 100Hz.

For clarity, I currently have two older Samsung TVs with 200Hz, and they are both great. I also have a retired Samsung 100Hz that was always OK, but I never thought awesome!

  • Your English seems quite good…
    I'd go the bigger screen

    • +1

Sorry, my friend write the post and I reply he said not to worry about last bit but I add.

      Thank you for answer ☺️

  • The Samsung 7100 is a good entry level model but the Hisense P7 is much better. However, if you can stretch a few hundred further then Samsung NU8000 beats them both. Great TV.

    I just recently purchased a Hisense 55 P7, which I got on special for $895 & it's excellent.
