I just bought the Evo Plus a few days ago and this is 7% cheaper…
So from the Samsung website, it looks like the sequential and random read/write speeds on the Evo Plus 1TB are superior to the 1TB Pro in every way. Also the Evo Plus uses V-NAND 3-bit MLC as opposed to 2-bit of the Pro. On top of that, this is more than $100 cheaper than the pro at the same storage capacity. Clear winner right here for performance (not that the end-user would notice) and price.
Sigh, just bought Evo normal version 2 weeks ago..
Looks not successfully to upgrade again.
But the price looks good.
