CoolerMaster MH752 Gaming Headset for $93.10 + $5.95 Shipping (Was $119.90) @ EB Games eBay

100
PURCHASE5PLAY5

EB Games has this headset listed for 18% off in their online store as well as on eBay. It works with the PURCHASE5 code (and probably others if you spend enough in one transaction) so you're better off buying it on eBay (and postage was $1 cheaper on eBay for me).

Not 100% sure when this expires, it's part of a "Best Sellers" sale on EB Games' site. eBay shows the listing ends 31st of March but the discount could be removed sooner. If they're sold out or the deal ends, try EB Games' website, your local EB Games store, or check out Mwave. They have a $20 discount on both the MH752 and MH751, and they include a free hat. MH751 deal @ Mwave

Looks like a decent headset, haven't used them myself, bought a pair a couple of days ago with this discount and waiting for them to arrive.
Watch this review for a good idea of what to expect from this headset (and a bit of entertainment), but take it with a grain of salt.

Edit: Tagged this deal as "headphones", all you have to do is detach the mic. They have a nice plain design, are very comfortable and great for listening to music, since they're based on Takstar Pro 82 headphones.

Edit 2: Back in stock, relisted with 2 headsets available. Will keep updating this deal as they sell out/restock.

  • Need a new headset, can anyone comment on the quality in the build? My razer man'o war 7.1s were amazing sound, but their quality in build was TERRIBLE. Flimsy plastic that broke quick.

      For under 100 i'd recommend looking into audio technicas ATH-M20x ($71) or ATH-M30x ($99)

Edit: If you need a mic stick one of these on the side

Zeos recommends these as the best budget headphones to get right now.

This guy uses headphones which sit in the $1000+ price regions, so for this guy to talk them up is pretty impressive, he's also very critical about shit headphones and isn't afraid to say it how it is, so I doubt he's bullshitting. Also, if I remember correctly, he says these beat the M-40x.

        • Good info! I usually just assume anything 'gaming' is trash value, as was the case when i bought my q701's.

These are based on Takstar Pro 82 headphones, bought a pair of those about 9 months ago as a gift for my dad and he hasn't broken them yet, pretty sure they've endured a few drops onto hard stone floor. Sample size of 1 though, YMMV.

Thanks OP, ordered one. These are rebranded takstar pro 82s which are an awesome bang for buck budget audiophile headphones - Mark up at this price similar to retailers of the pro 82s which makes this a good deal

Only thing common with reviews is that if you like super booming bass then these are probably not for you

  • Also to note can use PURPLE for 10% if buying other things to get to $120, or if picking up then pluspickup for 10% if ebay plus member (and save on postage too)

  • Limited stock, 7 in total and now only 4 left. There was a gaming headset on ozb a couple of weeks ago for under $30 with good reviews. Fair bit cheaper than this one

    • Darn, sorry, didn't notice the stock level. It's hidden on the eBay listing and is only visible if you look at the purchase history. There's now 6 sold and 2 left, they must've found another pair out the back. Hopefully the sale continues and they get more stock in.

These are a somewhat high-end headset and are priced as such, if you're just looking for a good deal on a headset then a $30 headset is more for you, but these should have better audio quality, build quality and comfort (judging from the reviews at least).

      Yep, that's the same headset.

Edit: wait a minute… in EB Games' photo, the microphone is plugged in upside down!

  • I bought the MH751's from PLE Computers for $89 pre-xmas. Almost nobody was stocking them or the MH752's at the time. I did a fair bit of research before purchasing and like others have said I found them to be rebranded Takstar Pro 82's with the addition of a boom mic, which is easily changeable to a V-Moda BoomPro later if you want that extra clarity.

I had Astro A40's but the inline-mute cable went cactus on me so I got these over paying the hefty price for a replacement cable.

So far my MH751's have worked a treat, I have them connected to my MixAMP Pro but still amazing directly plugged into whatever device you are using. They have directional awareness so you're not totally lost on SS.

Just to add that I picked these up today and can honestly say that they blow any other expensive gaming headset I have owned in the past, 100% recommend!

Huh, MWave are now selling the Cooler Master MH751 headset for $79.00 plus shipping (free pickup), and if you use the code cm1819 you get a free "Cooler Master Snap Back Hat".

MH751 are the same headset but without the USB soundcard and a different inline controller. That price is more budget friendly, could post a new deal if people are interested?
