I only wish there is always a 50% off on Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
Sure, I like the $5/L Connoisseur deal more, but Häagen-Dazs taste great, too.

At full price it's a bit too pricey, but at half-price you're getting a premium product for your premium dollars. It's one of the best ice creams I've had, and I'm happy to pay more if I know I'm getting more.
Rip off? Lol… Haagen dazs has maybe 16% overrun at most and actual real ingredients. Other than Ben and jerry's, no other supermarket ice cream has overrun so low or quality so high. Obviously some people buy "ice confection/frozen dessert" which has milk content too low to be legally called ice cream and has 100%+ overrun, but that doesn't mean it's good value. Haagen dazs at $5.75 is great value. For the record, Conoisseur has something like 50% overrun?
Out of interest, what Salted Caramel ice cream do you see as being better value than this? And don’t tell me Streets Blue Ribbon Vanilla!
