not to sound like a jerk….but doesn't exist. You'll just be buying another $200 dollar chair in a year or 2. Get an Aeron, 12 year warranty…..hate yourself for spending so much, but then realise it was the best choice you ever made once you park your butt in it.

    • Second this, get a second hand Aeron if you cant afford new.

Thought it would be around the $800 mark but (profanity) me it's $1500+ with the nicer ones over $2k.

    • Just don't go in to buy an Aeron and get tricked into buying a Mirra 2, like I did. What a piece of garbage (lumbar support broke in a few weeks, armrest actually sheared off last week)

  • i don't get it

never tried a "computer chair" or "gaming chair" before

i have office chairs in office and dining chair at home for long hours sitting in front PC

get a secondhand steelcase leap or haworth zody/lively or okamura baron

  • I got a GTRacing chair via Amazon for $160. Being a 'large' boy I needed one that could handle the extra weight and it is the most comfortable chair I've had in a long time. If you have enough spare change to get an Aeron then yeah that's the one, but if not I would look at GTRacing.

  • I have one of these for my home computer. I have had it for about 8 months now. No problems with it. 5 year warranty and rated for 135kg. I liked them so much that I purchased 2 more at Christmas time for each of my parents. They like them as well.

  • Hey mate check out Officeworks they often have old models and display models on clearance at a discounted price. I went once they had a $350 chair for $100 still had the 10 year warranty on it. It was used as a display so not sure how abused it would be.

    • If you're going for officeworks chairs, get the ergonomic ones. The ones that are good for 3-5 hours or 5-8 hours, the seat cushion will give in/flatten after using it for a year or two.

  • Ikea markus or jarvfallet.

Buro metro if they ever start appearing on deals again at around 200.

  • Don't buy anything under the brand ThunderX3. Cheap materials that will degrade in a years time and poor engineering which could hurt you due to poor weight distribution.

    • That's what I'm trying to replace haha

  • Those 2nd hand office places often get heaps of Steelcase chairs, there's a big one in Richmond that a few people at work got theirs from for their home/office
