How does this compare to the N950?
I listened to both in JB Hifi last week. The N950 blows it away for movies. The Bose is better for music. The Bose is much more low profile and looks much nicer. I would have got the N950 but the wife gets the home styling impact vote and the Samsung is truly ugly!
I ended up getting the Bose Soundtouch 300 from ebay which is the same as the 700 but without built in Alexa microphones.

I have one as well as the subwoofer. Sound quality is good, but the universal remote is rubbish. The app doesn't work with Apple/Amazon music and Bose' promise of Airplay 2 is a blanket 'sometime in 2019' statement. Keep in mind that the new products run on a seperate app to the existing SoundTouch line, so don't buy thinking they'll be compatible with each other. Maybe consider Sonos instead?
