good price, but not good for your car.
definitely not, after not washing my car for about 6 weeks it was looking quite dirty and i had a spare 30 mins i was at the shell so i thought why not im sure these machines arnt as bad as they use to be….. I was wrong scratched up the car something fearce even after a few coats of polish i could still see the scratches, I think these machines are only good if your car is white or you don't really give a crap about your car.
Still this is quite cheap though, but for warned is for armed

I tried it once when they had a $5 special promotion just before x'mas. It worked fine without any drama given my car wasn't covered with mud or anything just some dust. $4 is even a better deal!

Yeah too true its a joke lol! Proper washing with a decent mitt (woolen or microfibre) will be much better for the paint (especially if you pressure clean the loose dirt off first) than these automatic brush washers. If you are going to use an auto washer use the brushless laser washes or dont bother…

I bet the majority of people who hand-wash cars just use a sponge which can rub dirt and sand all over your fine finish if not used properly.
If you really care then you would have two buckets, and at least 3 sponges.
1 bucket has the car wash detergent / soap in it, the other bucket has water and to be use ONLY for rinsing the sponge.
1 sponge is used for the top half of the car down to the tirm on the door (if you have it), the 2nd sponge is for the lower part of the car, and the 3rd for the wheels.
There actually aren't that many Coles Express with car wash attached, the PDF of all locations is only half a page, and I can remember the one or two I might be likely to pass. Heck I have a bomb of a car so why not.
Do you have to wash before June or actually buy the coupon (with 30 day validity) before June?
If it's anything like the other car washes, they'll give you a printed slip with a 5 or 6 digit code that's valid for X days. Nothing says you have take the car through there and then. In fact you could even give the code to someone else. But I may be wrong.
Maybe he should go through a Coles Express ?
Hand washing is important for proper bonding between car and driver.
Especially if you can get a kid to do it instead. :)
