These are end of line so can get them for a good price. May be good if you want to do the Fitbit thing with your child after picking up a good deal on the Fit Bit Ace.

The guy at Chatswood said not many JB-HiFi Stores had much stock, but DJ's seems to have some in a few stores, so can get them to price match.

You may need to ring around the stores for availability. Chatswood had one in pink, Warringah Mall had two in black.

  Doesn't have a screen. Why are fitbit so expensive? Are they that good? I got an Honor band 4 for $50 that even has nfc.

  It's a good question. At least this one is waterproof. The eco system is excellent. My son is having a great time taking us on in different challenges, earning trophies and badges etc after I picked him up a Fitbit ace in the last sale. This is a "cheap" way to buy into that ecosystem and take part.
