This deal was posed a few months back for $68.58 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/397791), back with a lower price.

Keyboard features:
Per key backlighting for 16.8M RGB color
Superior gaming mechanical key-switch
Adjustable rubber feet stands
On-the-fly multimedia and backlight control
Full-range anti-ghosting capability

I believe these are NOT cherry switches, still decent price considering the features.

  • Serious question : cherry switches, worth?

    • They do test as being high quality, meaning consistent force to use each switch, on tests like Anandtech's where they measure these things.

With some/all? cheaper switches the force required to depress them varies.

Not sure if you even notice the differences though, particularly for gaming rather than typing.

Ultimately you should go with whatever is most preferred by you though and that may not even be mechanical, some people even prefer "shitty" (but not for them) membrane switches.

I keeping coming back to Cherry MX Reds myself.

    • They're good, but there are other good options. Gaterons are well regarded, for example.

  • I need a cheap mechanical keyboard for home. Anything sub $50?

    • Arealer Roarer kb Sold in AliExpress for about $50.
Bought one for work (noisy environment), pretty happy with it.
I bought another for home use, still waiting for shipping.
The only concern would be the clicking noise as you type, other than that, no complaint.
