Most of those are also on game pass.

Kingdom Hearts 3 got me interested in whatever happened to the remastered Kingdom Hearts collection but was then disappointed to see that it was only released on PS4

It's times like this that make me want to break my 'no discs' rule.

Just Cause 4 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are $25 on Amazon and here they're $50 'on sale at 50% off'.

    • I honestly dooooon't understand why physical is usually less expensive than digital. Surely there's less overhead.

      • I think it’s so digital doesn’t cannibalise physical as consoles rely on game stores so much to sell the console.

I don’t mind physical though. For some games, it’s a boon to buy and sell relatively quickly without losing much money. I pay more for movie tickets that some games these days.

        • Yeah this. I'm just anti-discs these days. When I packed up my PS3 I had 3 boxes of discs and 5 boxes of 360 games. It just takes up room and gathers dust.

      • I searched this the other day and found its generally because the store price is set by the developer and since there isn't much competition, the digital copy prices don't change that often.

Where in a store, they have to make room for new stock and new games, so they lower prices to clear stock. Plus more stores mean more competition and better prices for us!

        • Yeah was gonna say the same. Stores need to move their physical stock to make a profit and not hoard games until someone’s buys them.

Digital is digital. It doesn’t exist anywhere so doesn’t take up any room.

        • Two a degree. They generally wont sell at a loss unless it's part of a clearance cycle. Usually they're doing it because the distributor has given them a rebate to lower the price.

  • Thief for $4 down from $26
