      No one pays delivery…

  • How slow are these things? It seems they have been out for a while, but surely they've been upgraded over time?

    • +2

      From the deal posted Feb 2019, Iplau indicates they are very slow;
      Avg. Sustained Write Speed 8.82MB/s
      Avg. Sequential Write Speed 11.7MB/s

      • Are we sure they're USB 3?

        • This was covered in that previous chain also. I'll link it here so you can get details on all any other questions already covered.

          Yes it's USB 3.0 but slower read and write than some USB 2.0..

    • I have them from previous deal, they are very slow…

      • can you recommend a good one from their ebay store?

  • Not worth it if u dont mind it being slow for a 3.0 usb should call it a usb2

  • I bought one of these a few years ago from MSY as I needed something to chuck a Mac OS installer on. It works well for that purpose. When you're installing Mac OS on a new SSD you don't really notice it going slow - although sometimes it seems to install surprisingly quickly and other times it needs to be left installing overnight - not sure what that's all about though.
