    For now, but refurb…
    Lowest was $264 new

      Where/when has it been $264?

      • He might be talking about the JB Hi-Price deal from Easter last year. Except that was for the WH1000XM2

    • That would have to be corporate deal. At least clarify when that deal happened. There might be a low price, but its also may never come again. Not until a new model comes out.

I don't believe they are too thorough in their 'refurb' process. I got a set of these and they were supplied with a generic micru-usb charging cable rather than a usb-c charging cable

Same here plus one had a bent headband and made creaking sounds and the other had a fully cracked open hinge. Was not too difficult to return for a refund though with eBay Plus. Having said that from previous deals most seem to have received ones in as new condition. But for $320 I would recommend waiting for either an Amazon price drop or another eBay coupon deal rather than risking it with a refurb.

Sounds like you got the ones which took the weight of the force of whatever damaged the stock. i.e. forklift rammed them.

        • Haha may well be. I actually bought 4 of them 2 for a mate and 3 of them were in shoddy condition (two as per above and one had unremovable white paint marks or something on there). One was in okay condition but started making creaking sounds even when picking it up. As someone above has commented received wrong charging cables as well in a couple of them. Hearing how others have received ones in as new condition and some even sealed either I was hella unlucky or they are lying through their teeth lol.

          • @dins: They should have been put them through a screening process though, that is definitely a disappointment on a manufacturer refurb.

            • @thebadmachine: Yeah not sure how they were assigned as re-sellable. Also after seeing those I'm kinda concerned about the headband and hinges on these as well doesn't seem all that robust.

I think we could wait until next month cause I found that this sony headphone has 20% discount once a month.

There have been deals getting these new for $313 or less. I'd wait for new at cheaper price.

    I think the h.ear on 2 is a better deal @$175

  • I got these last time they were posted and was very happy - other than the box being held closed with sticky tape they were brand new

  • Factory Seconds don't need to be (physical product) refurbs, nor are they generally. Usually they have a cosmetic defect which can be as simple as bad packaging.
