    Price hipster shows price variation.

Not in the same class, but this may interest, but only for a laptop I'd say.

  • Has this fad not passed yet?

No, because there's reasonable evidence to suggest that standing up (and better yet walking, even if slowly) is way better for you than sitting down.

There's a book called "Move a Little, Lose a Lot" by James Levine Md, Phd which goes into more detail, if you'd like. He ran the study at the Mayo clinic where they had people wear six fitbit-style motion sensors 23 hours and fifty minutes a day, and measured every single calorie they consumed (including weighing every ingredient of every meal, and portion size, and making the participants eat with spatulas so they could lick them clean).

TL;DR: switching between standing desks and sitting desks is much better for you than just sitting alone.

      • But these you have to wind up and wind down, so its not like press the button then stand

        • Extra exercise

  • This look like the ones that were at Aldis
