    Thanks OP.
Buying my first toy drone. Just looked at some at Kogans.
Any ideas if there's a good one with a camera, under say $80? Or best cheapy drone from elsewhere.

      Phew.
I thought you were getting a real drone.

      • +1

People are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on drones. I just tried to point out I have no knowledge about them, and just looking to buy a cheap toy level that's a good choice.

Donald Rediculous just squashed the Civilian Kill Drone Report, so yes not only do idiots exist, but real (deadly) drones do exist.

I hope you are OK with that ;-). Keep seeking those higher vibrations.

Quadcopter 101 on YouTube reviews them everyday FWIW.

  • Great for furniture

  • Code does not work at Kogan. At Kogan you can use the Kogan GCs which can be sourced at a discount

Prices not the same - Kogan 65" Smart HDR 4K LED TV (Series 8 LU8010) at Dick Smith = $869 with free shipping. The same TV at Kogan = $789 + shipping (Sydney) = $852.99. It would be worth checking both sites before you buy!

    • Interesting because the LU8010 is the same price at both (43 in Smart 4k) While DS has free shipping

I find it almost imposible to find something to buy at Kogan. I eventually do find something, go to ebay to check price there, find the same thing much cheaper. If Kogan is doing well there must be lots of lazy dummies.

Their mobile and internet plans aren't too bad though. Their phone deals are great and if I remember right they were offering cheapest NBN 100/40 unlimited in all of Australia.

      • I would go Kogan for mobile if Vodafail worked for me. It doesn't. I've tried.

    • To be fair, everything I bought at Kogan delivers in 2-3 days. Dispatch is almost always same or next day and the another day and I’ve got it.

eBay, it varies, but it’s fair to say I average a week or two to receive an item.

  • got my very first power bank
hope these kogan ones hold up
    thanks OP

  • Hmm, the PD power bank is tempting. How's it hold up to the ZMI/PD Xiaomis?

    • It delivers more power and has a higher capacity than both.

  • Saved $6 on buying a stand for my NVIDIA shield, Thanks.

  • Roma Nespresso pods are still $25 for 100. The shipping usually kills the deal but being free it makes them worth a punt. 0.25c a pod is a bargain!

      0.25c a pod is a bargain!

Damn right it is lol. 100 pods for 25 cents! Where can I get some?

      $25 = 2500 cents / 100 = 25 cents ;)

      Aldi coffee pods are cheaper.

  • Prices have been jacked :( no surprises there.

  • Not working for me

Nevermind tried on dicksmith and it was fine - case sensitive though

  • Please don’t call it Kogan dick Smith, it’s either one or thr other both are seperate names tho they are related. It’s like calling westfatmers Coles, and Woolworths limited Caltex.

    • Where did someone call it Kogan Dick Smith?

      • +1

        Possibly the title.

    • +1

      Kogan / Dick Smith.

It's just like saying Harvey Norman / Domayne. Same same but different.

    • -1

For starters, Coles don't belong to Westfarmers anymore as per the demerger on Thursday 15 November 2018.

Secondly, the context of placing Woolworths Limited and Caltex together wouldn't even make sense, seeing as Woolworths do not own Caltex and vice versa, this is in fact a patnership.

Thirdly, the "/" symbol signifies either or.
