Amazon Prime Video is it $3.99 or $6.99 ?

Hello Friends.

I have been getting a big push from family to subscribe for Amazon Prime video. Surprisingly when i tried to get it on my iPad through iTunes it says $3.99/month after free trial. Never says what the trial period will be.

If i check the same thing on my laptop on https://www.primevideo.com/ it says its for $6.99/month

Anyone else saw this and can help on what is the catch.

Any ozbargainer deal and tips will be helpful.

      $3.99 is JUST Prime Video.

      $6.99 is Amazon Prime (free fast deliveries on their products) PLUS Prime Video.

    For me, Amazon Prime used to be $4.99 per month. Now it has gone up to $6.99 per month.

    Edit: as per your screenshots, Amazon Prime and Amazon Prime Video are separate products. Hybroid explained it.

    Yes, Looks liek $6.99 is a better value. GEt to read my book while others get glued to the TV :-) thanks guys have a nice night and a great day tomorrow

    We got Amazon prime. The man is looking at Man in the High Castle. I will watch American Gods; I read the book.

    It does change the way we buy stuff from Amazon. We aren’t looking for stuff to bring us up to free shipping.

    They increased their membership from $4.99 to $6.99. Was a member for a while but not many good shows compared to Netflix and Stan and not nearly enough good deals so cancelled membership.

      The Grand Tour, Jack Ryan, Hanna, The Office (US), Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, American Gods among a myriad of other original movies/shows and mixed older ones.

      Doesn't compare to Netflix but nice added bonus when getting Prime anyway.

        Yeah I've got prime, but when i logged in originally the content was really lacking compared to netflix. The US office is a good exclusive though.
