      I’d recommend getting the maculan 12. It’s a bit more pricy but you can never go wrong with macallan. One of the finest out there

        12 more than 16 perhaps, off you're really looking for something punchy rather than mellow through maturation. But the 8 is too young, brash, and thin. You'd be one of the few who say 8 > 16.

    My lagavulin 16 arrived. Lagavulin Box is fairly damaged but thankfully the scotch bottle inside is intact and still sealed! The damage could not have occurred during shipping as the outer carboard shipping box was undamaged.
