    Was just looking at this.

    Pros:
    — 3 ply
    — Aloe Vera

    Cons:
    — Expensive compared to the Homebrand tissues ($1.05 per 100 tissues vs. $.47 per 100 tissues)
    — Only 105 tissues per pack (Others normally have more)

For most uses, the homebrand does the job. For times of sickness, the Kleenex are my preferred.

      — Expensive compared to the Homebrand tissue

no comparison when you have a cold… the Aloe Vera ones don't feel like sandpaper after you've been blowing your nose all day…

      • +1

        +1.
        Stockup for the winter.

      • Word for word.

  • depends on preference

i prefer kleenex normally (much softer) but i have allergies in the morning
also a normal 3 ply kleenx jumbo pack 250 sheets is around 2.50
so this aint bad value (also has aloe!)

    • +1

yeah, i always get the large n thick ones…

    • I used to have bad allergies. It has been improved since taking high quality nutritional supplements.

  • time to stock up, great for colds and baby!!

    • +2

i prefer to use baby wipes on a baby…

  • perfect price for delicate areas on baby and red noses.
other times…cheapy Coles or Wollies tissue does the job perfectly too.

but at 5 for 5….can't beat that else where i guess.
will definitely buy IF there are any left in the local shop (which i highly doubt)

It's good for guys using the comp at night too. Doesn't hurt when you wipe it against your belly.

      WTF

    • +1

ROFL… ummm, yeah I get that

    • +1

HAHAHAHA!! you made me laugh hard!!

    • Can't help but lol at creepy comments like this

    • if it's going all over your belly then your technique is wrong

      • +1

Where else is it supposed to go?

        • +5

          All over a sexeh lady.

    • +1

waste of resources, socks are going to be washed anyways.

  • +4

Woolworths the fresh food people….latest specials catalogue has 3 and a half pages of fresh stuff out of 28 pages…..LOL

  • One thing - dunno about the eucalyptus flavour but the aloe ones are useless for cleaning glasses, computer screens, etc. They leave a revolting slimey residue. I always get caught with that problem!

    • +1

Flavour?! LOL. "You're doing it wrong" :D

You're right about glasses though. Anything more than standard is NOT usable. :(

  • Soft Tissues???

Harden up Princesses…Real Men use Sandpaper! :P

    • If that also means being stupid then yea I agree.

  • wow cool!!!!! i normally buy it from coles when its 2 for $5

thats it, im going to buy 100 hundred and stock up for the whole year! i like these tissues!
good for nose and other stuff ;)

    • 100 boxes?
what are you, some sort of nostril machine with chronic hayfever and runny nose and stuff?

      • no i just like to stock up on sale items while its cheap so i don't have to pay full price later

  • In Harbour town (sa), you can pick up a box of 24 for $24, so it's still $1 each.

  • +5

Went to 2 local Woolies and there is non in stock. First day of the special too; typical……

    • +2

      raincheck

      • I might do this raincheck thing. My Safeway shelves were a desolate wasteland where these lovely soft tissues should have been.

    • +4

If they are not in stock, ask them for a raincheck and you can get them at a later time at the special price. I think you have to use it within 1 month.

      • i think i know what a raincheck is but to confirm is it
[1] they call you when they have it in stock?
[2] you can place an order for e.g. 50 boxes and when it comes in, you still get that price that was on sale?

        • +2

They don't call you. You get a piece of paper the size of the business card, stating the quantity you are after and the price. You then have about a month to buy the product. You purchase products normally and then give the checkout person this card and they will override the price. There is usually a limit on the amount of stock they can give you for a raincheck. It's usually been 6 in my local store but this is loosely enforced.

      • No more rain cheques available as head office has said Kimberly Clark cannot meet demand. Confirmed by Manager at Woolworths Penrith Sore.

  • Look at me now.. i'm getting tissues! LEGGO

  • Good one.

  • bought it for my sensitive bottom LOL

  • +4

have a box next to the computer gents. for those late lonely nights online and alone :O

    • +1

      ok buddy.

    • Watch out, eucalyptus on your doodle can burn.

    • +1

Yeah I like to watch sad movies too late at night alone.

  • Went to the Fitzroy (VIC) store. None left and a sign stating a limit of 10.

    • 10 huh..

Earlier I was at the Doncaster Westfield store and they were re-stocking the shelves… I started grabbing, and was told buddy only 5 max lol.

      • Ringwood Vic had heaps and don't have a limit. Got 6 boxes (24x6) LOL! Gonna last me a whole year……

Just saw them refilling the aloe ones at Lane Cove woolworth.

    • No stock available as of midday sunday

  • i just use toilet paper for every orifice of my body.

    • What's an orifice?

      • An orifice is any opening, mouth, hole or vent, as of a pipe, plate, or a body.

  • checked the 4 woolies near my house, all sold out.
one shop had a sign saying they won't be getting anymore
i saw in todays newspaper saying woolies apologizing theres no more due to unprecedented demand
i called my local woolies & said they won't be getting anymore & its a warehouse issue & they got no more so tough

    • Don't you mean it's warehouse tissue?
      :troll face

  • Got a raincheck at my local store - limited to 5 boxes only :-(
May have to send all family members down to get rainchecks too.
What a joke though - front page of a catalogue and no stock….god knows this would not happen with coke!

    • wow your lucky you got a raincheck, i asked at liverpool NSW and they said they wouldn't do it. f me

      • Yeah, I find that Woolworths is not very good at sticking to their own policy. I've once gone all the way to get an item on offer which wasn't in stock. The staff refused to give me a raincheck and told me to come back another day. It wasn't a no raincheck item, so pretty sure he was just being nasty for the sake of it.

I've never had this problem in Coles.

Woolworths post Apology notes on Herald Sun for unavailable stock due to massive demands. It must be because of ozbargain readers stocking up. LOL….

  • Lol haha that's a good one

  • I say we ozbargain their feedback channels by complaining!

  • Was sold out at Midlands Shopping centre
