Woman At War is an Icelandic film that has delighted audiences around the world since it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival’s Critics Week in 2018 - so much so in fact - that an English language remake is currently underway with Jodie Foster directing, co-producing and staring in the project.

Woman At War follows Halla, a fifty-year-old independent Icelandic woman and respected choir leader, who lives a mysterious double life. Known only to the public by her alias “The Mountain Woman,” Halla is a passionate environmental activist, secretly waging a one-woman-war on the local aluminium industry and risking everything to conserve the pristine Icelandic highlands she loves.

Woman At War opens in cinemas around the country from 4 April.

Please note, preview screening seats are limited and are allocated on a first in best dressed basis.

          @alvian: Lol so could expect more people not from Honeybees Choir to turn up than the ones from, given how long it's been up there?

          Or are these leftover tickets cause Honeybees Choir members would have already signed up for some if they wanted to go?

          As you can tell I'm just trying to justify using them or weighing against using them…lol
