  • It would be a beater if you could find one. I think they stopped making them in about 2011. They were mainly used as police and taxi vehicles, so not the most easy of a life. They were seldom bought as family cars, so any that you do find will likely to have been treated like shit and have a million miles on it…

That being said, if you are looking at importing one of these, you will need to find a RAWS that will do the compliance and see if it is on the SEVS list. That’s a good place to start to see if you can even get it into the country.

If you only want it for your farm use or for a static display vehicle, you may just be able to import it as such, but you will never be able to get compliance for it if it is just imported for that usage.

    Dear god why?

    • Maybe to put a turbo on it, but not hoon? ;)

    • Only thing I can think of is building a movie car, either taxi or cop car.

I can’t imagine anyone would have imported one, except as a movie car.

I just read a little on Wikipedia about them. It’s kinda funny that as much as the yanks want a ‘home grown’ cop car, they were all built in Canada.
